This hotel is a great location to the State Capital, within walking distance for those that can handle a mile walk. Parking lot was safe and close to hotel entry points. Hotel smelled clean and fresh, even the room smelled nice. All staff we encountered were polite and friendly. Breakfast is basic, wish there were more options but its enough to get the job done. Traveling with my 10 yr old daughter for a field trip and we felt 100% safe in the parking lot and in our room. 10/10 would recommend.
Only negative comments I have is the hotel decor is a little outdated. Both chairs in the room are very worn with stains or worn off "pleather" material. The bathroom wall had "splatter" where the trashcan was (people throwing stuff away and splashing on the wall) so that was a little yucky but not enough to gross us out. Other than those two minor things the room was spotless.
