Days Inn Kansas City Mo Near Worlds Of Fun

Very extremely fabulous hotel comfort inn and suites at world of fun. Breakfast are very good and nice staff and clean facilities

The Days Inn by Worlds of Fun was the dirtiest, nastiest hotel that I have EVER stayed in! Had we not been so exhausted from our drive and from moving my elderly parents back to Kansas City I would have demanded a complete refund and would have rather slept in my car!! After staying in the filthy room, I was not even about to try the "free" breakfast. The front desk people were not concerned nor did they even act like they cared!

We decided to try this Days Inn after a disappointing stay a couple of years ago. Still disappointed. While the rooms were a little cleaner this time, the desk was very rude. She first asked if anyone was going to be in the room with me. Of course my reservation indicated 2 persons. I asked why and after got past that It was policy she finally admitted that they had had some problems such as theft(another reason to be wary?). She also said it was policy in Kansas City but she backed off when I told her I've stayed in Days Inns many times in the area and had never been asked for ID for all guests. I did go out to the car and get my wife's license for her but still do not understand why her ID would help prevent thefts, etc. or improve the identification of their customers. Would she demand ID''s from children? I had a strong sense that they were nosy about couples, i.e., same xxx xxxxxxxs?? I also asked why 20% was added to the bill and she rudely stated that she didn't know anything about taxes and would not provide any information. Of course the website and paid receipt(that we had to ask for) shows a good extra 10% in added fees other than taxes. I do not understand why she would not want to disclose that since it is very public.
