Staybridge Suites O'Fallon Chesterfield

I have stayed here for several years and it used to be a clean and great hotel. Since covid it has went down hill fast. I stayed last December 2025 and the coke machine was broke and the hallways on each floor was filthy! Like it hadn't been vacuumed for who knows how long. It was that bad. I went again this week and it hasn't gotten any better. Coke machine was terrible, tasted like it was old pop, didn't have any carbonation. Hallway on my floor was TERRIBLE and the pool was not cleaned. I had dead bugs all over me when I was floating in the pool. I asked the front desk to please change the Diet Coke out, because it tasted terrible. I also asked them to vacuum my hallway. I called IHG properties, because they own them and told them about the hallway, pool and the coke machine. They called the hotel and they were supposed to have the Manager call me, but apparently she was out Sun - Thurs sick. I still have not heard from the manager. Called IHG again and I told them they did clean the pool, but the coke machine and hallway was still not cleaned. So, I found a vacuum in the hallway downstairs, that's the only place they vacuum, and took it to my floor and vacuumed the hallway myself!! It took 5 minutes! Also, the maid carts do NOT even have a vacuum on it. The maid said that there is not a designated person to vacuum the hallways! And why is that!!! Seriously! No wonder they are not vacuumed. I also called IHG and told them that I finally had to vacuum the hallway!!! Then that night, I went in my room and they took all my towels and did NOT replace them. I had no towels, washcloths or hand towels! I had zero! And they did not empty my trash, like they did every day before that. I went down to the front desk and asked them why I received no towels, and the guy said they run out and the laundry just got them done! lol They were booked and run out! Their was no one in the laundry room. And it was 9:00 pm at night. They were doing all that on purpose and I will get my points that I used for those nights. And I am a Diamond Elite customer! I will never ever stay at this hotel again!!!!!!!

My stay was fine, the place was clean, the staff was accommodating. The property needs a major upgrade. You can start with everything. Furniture, bathrooms, carpet, etc. Over priced for what it is.

Wonderful stay! Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and afternoon social food. Highly recommend Staybridge Suites O’Fallon.
