HAMPTON INN SUITES ST LOUIS AT

On a beautiful street. Parking is $10/night. I booked a suite with 2 queen beds and a sleeping sofa. I like how large the room is. Today is Sunday and when we checked in at 6pm, there were cookies in the dining area, a nice touch. However, the coffee l got from the coffee dispenser was lukewarm and I had to threw it out. I just recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Milwaukee where you make your freshly brewed cup in the lobby. This is pre brewed coffee in a large dispenser. I suggest they revamp their coffee station.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had a nice breakfast buffet with a good variety of choices. It is next to a main road and if you are on that side of the road, you can hear some road noise but it wasn't terrible. I also could hear the alarm going off in the room next to me so noise insulation isn't perfect but didn't interfere with sleep. The room was clean and felt modern. The location is great and is in a very nice area.

Very nice modern Hampton. Rooms clean, beds fairly new, good pillows (medium thickness). Breakfast above average for a Hampton. Across the road from Forest Park and the zoo but not really walking distance because it's several blocks to the nearest bridge over I-64 to the zoo. My only complaint was highway noise. The hotel looks out over I-64, so we could hear traffic even from the 6th floor. The hotel is laid out perpendicular to the highway, so picking a room with a high number such as 635 would be further away (we were 603).
