Days Inn Springfield South

My husband and I stayed here two nights for an anniversary trip. I booked through the hotel ahead of time and we had no problems checking in. We requested a first floor room and the staff was able to accommodate us. The room was clean and had the king bed requested. It was a little hard to get to sleep the first night because we could hear talking from the room next door which went on for a while. The next day we were out all day and when we came back our room was nicely cleaned and bed made which we weren't expecting since we were only staying the two nights. The next night we slept better, although a car's alarm was going off literally half the night. I know, because I was awake. Not the hotel's fault but it seems they could have call the guest's room to get them to go stop the alarm. The hotel gets the information of what kind of car all the guests are driving upon check-in. Made it real hard to sleep, so we checked out very early. The breakfast was OK, nothing fancy, and I think anyone could find something to eat. Toni the employee taking care of keeping food ready and counters and tables wiped down was doing a very good job.

We had a great stay. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast area was clean and had many options. Only drawbacks were there wasn't a hot tub and the exercise room didn't open until 9:00.

Great room. Great employees. Toni is the best in the breakfast area. They also had food in the breakfast area that I could eat that was gluten free
