Circle S Motel

This place really needs help on the outside. The grounds are dirty. There was a garden hose outside by the registration desk. I'm surprised someone didn't trip over it Our room was just OK. Price was cheap. Most places around here was over $100. Pool closed. No free breakfast. No discount.

They are now called Circle S. They need to clean and repair the premises. The room next to us had a broken window. Our tub didn't drain and the faucet in the tub worked, but was broken. There is mold on the tile. The chairs were stained. Our king size bed's springs were 2 twin beds. The sink had a crack in it and there isn't much lighting. The room smelled and the AC wasn't working well. They are not serving breakfast and the pool is not working.

Due to the interstate closing I found myself at a gas station in Cozad debating what my options were. The snow was deep and even navigating the town was difficult. The Knights Inn is right next door. The owner was very friendly. He let me check in hours early after I explained that my small dog and I were stranded. They do allow dogs for an added $10. The room was reasonably priced. However it was very dirty. There were cigarette ashes on the carpet in my non smoking room in addition to a horribly stained carpet. The room I was in needed cleaning, updating and fresh bedding. So if you are in a pinch it’s convenient but not a clean ,comfortable environment.
