Best Western Plus Airport Plaza Hotel

I almost did not stay here after reading all the bad reviews but took a chance anyway. I had to fly out and was gone for a week and used the park and fly option. First off, there was plenty of parking and I had no problem finding a space right up front The check in staff was super friendly and gave me the room that I had asked for on the first floor by the lobby. The room was large but it was pretty “tired” with a lot of the furniture being banged up. However, the bed was comfortable and the television worked fine. The air conditioning was a little loud but no big deal. Overall, the room was clean but could stand to be refurbished. The bar was excellent with very reasonable prices. The restaurant was outstanding with a choice of India or American food. We love Indian food and it was excellent. The lobby area is very large and very nice. The shuttle is on demand which is very nice – if he is not at the hotel, he is only minutes away. It takes approximately four minutes from the hotel to the terminal doors….quick! If I am flying out of Reno again, I will stay at this hotel.

It was comfy, but seemed a little worn around the edges. Definitely nothing special. The new airport construction was tricky too, especially at night in an unfamiliar town. One elevator didn't work and one outside door near where we parked, was not working either.

Nice property, decent rooms, parking was absolutely full, sink outside of bathroom, small pillows.
