AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN

w on Google I booked a premium king room online with a service dog. When I checked in, I was given an old 2 queen bed room. After going back to the desk, she said they didn’t have a premium king. I was not given a $10 refund from my king room. A lot of the machines in the casino weren’t working. We ordered the deluxe pizza. It looked great, cooked on top (but no extra cheese like we ordered). The pizza crust was totally not cooked on the bottom,. The bartender was apologetic and the pizza was comped since there was so little of it that we couldn’t eat. Back at the room, it’s so more outdated than the pictures. The bathroom is straight out of the 70s or 80s. The beds aren’t comfortable and the pillows are old. So much for a restful night sleep after a 600 mile day.

The people are super friendly. The restaurant has awesome food. The room was ok, needs some tlc but nothing super bad.

PLUS: (1) The room was neat and clean. (2) The staff was friendly and courteous. (3) The meals at JR'S were good. CON: (1) The room was dated and appeared to be missing furniture; one nightstand had a lamp and the did not. (2) The barhroom light was faulty; you had to tap it with a coat hanger to get it to stay on. (3) No kleenex tissue box in the room. (4) JR'S did not accept Amex which I thought was unusual for a casino cafe.
