Best Western Park Vue Motel

The rooms are visibly run down and the WiFi is terrible, but at this price point I expected that. What I didn’t expect was to find that this hotel hands out master keys to every guest on the property. I discovered this accidentally with a coworker, and we confirmed it by having replacement keys made at the front desk, which by the way is at another location and only manned about an hour a day. I left as soon as I found out, only to discover that management will not return calls from guests or booking agencies. Oh yeah, and they charged me 80 dollars more than the actual stay, so there’s that. Anyway I’m reporting this dumpster fire to the state and disputing charges left and right. Seriously, pay a little more and go somewhere that cares.

Booked for one night, checked in, went to room. Bed wasn't made yet, no coverings on bed whatsoever. Mattress Black stain on corner of mattress. Smell, various stains on the carpet, we hadn't even turned on the lights yet! We never did, just shut the door!! Immediately cancelled reservations!!

The room was nice enough, but overpriced considering there was no fridge or microwave, the ice machine was broken (and looked as though it had been that way for some time), and the clerk told me to go buy ice at a convenience store (which also had no ice). There were no water cups in the room, the TV was stuck on one channel, and the 40-watt bulbs in the bedside lamps were too dim to read by. "Breakfast" consisted of coffee (no juice or milk) and stuff wrapped in plastic (no fruit, yogurt, etc.). For the price I paid, I expected better--especially since I've stayed here a couple of times in the not-so-distant past when the prices were lower and the quality was higher. I probably won't be staying here in the future.
