Doc's Cottages

I was in the middle of a long trip around California and wanted someplace to just regroup alone for a few days while I was in the South Lake Tahoe area between events. It was perfect! Had a lovely little cottage with a well-appointed kitchen, a really comfortable bed and quiet at night after the band at the bar across the street stopped playing at 10pm. It was easy walking distance to all the casinos if you are into that or if you just want a cozy place to rest and recharge. I should warn you though, the water pressure is atrocious and I spent several minutes thinking I was never going to get water hot enough for a shower! But it warmed up eventually and I did get a good shower after all. They are old buildings but well maintained.

After reading previous reviews, we decided to book our stay at Doc's Cottages. Trust the great reviews! We stayed in #3 and it was perfect for our needs. The cottage was clean, reservation and check-in procedures easy, and the unit was within walking distance to anything we wanted to do. Questions or concerns were addressed immediately. It was the perfect choice!

We have been staying at Doc’s for almost 10 years. We love the vibe and the location is perfect. Lloyd and Dave took great care of us! We appreciate the full kitchens and the patio area. We were able to walk to the beach and walk down to the golf tournament, and love how close they are to the casinos. We can’t wait to go back next year!
