Comfort Inn Concord

Poorly maintained hotel. Attention is given to pictured areas and the rest of the hotel is run down. Just about every piece of wooden furniture and sign is cracked, broken, scratched, falling apart. Air unit is all or nothing so freeze or bake, your choice. Electrical hazard in room from outlets with no faceplate, shower (not tub as expected) was laden with mold and mildew, carpet worn out and wrinkled and in general the hotel is in need of an update and has an odor. Front desk staff (daytime)was great at checkin. Night staff was improperly dressed (fuzzy pajama pants, no uniform) and rude. Over the phone we asked about pool and were told well sorry, so we didn't pack suits. At checkin we were told we could have used the pool at the neighboring hotel. Disappointing that we were not given that info sooner. Be warned the parking lot has skinny spaces and the layout means most are far from the entrance with no ramp down from sidewalk to pavement for the luggage cart.

Unsafe for Pets, Disrespectful and Rude front desk, and Zero Accountability. We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Concord, NH during a wedding weekend, and it was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had. We specifically booked a pet-friendly room through Expedia so we could bring our two well-behaved dogs. Upon arrival, my fiancée—who made the reservation—was nearly denied check-in because her name didn’t match the credit card, even though the reservation was in her name. Only after an unnecessary and rude interaction did a manager finally allow us to check in. Later that evening, we returned to find that our dogs had been removed from our locked hotel room without notice or consent. The front desk agent was rude, dismissive, and claimed not to know where our dogs were. We were never called, even though our contact info was on file. A fellow guest eventually told us that a hotel staff member had let our dogs out, and they had been wandering outside. One of them had run off down the street—near a major highway—before we were able to find her. We immediately packed up and left. We were there less than 6 hours and were charged over $500 for a two-night stay. It took weeks of being bounced between Expedia, Choice Hotels, and Comfort Inn staff to get any kind of resolution. In the end, they refunded only one night ($246.72), despite putting our pets in danger and making it impossible to continue our stay. Comfort Inn's handling of the situation was disgraceful. The staff showed zero concern, accountability, or basic customer service. Expedia and Choice Hotels were just as frustrating—shifting responsibility and making it nearly impossible to get help. If you travel with pets or expect even basic professionalism, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel—and this hotel chain—entirely.

Hawa, is always super helpful and pleasant to talk to. I was having trouble with my Choice App and couldn't find how to get a quote for the conference room. She always greats us with friendlyness and a smile. I stopped at the desk to inquire about the conference room for a potential baby shower. Hawa was super professional and informative. She answered all my questions and gave me clarity. This is a great hotel with friendly kind staff. Thank you for all that you do and for ensuring us a comfortable stay.
