Sunset Motor Inn

Friendly staff. Very small room & bathroom, but otherwise clean & comfortable. A/C struggled against peak heat of the day, which seemed odd for such a small space, but that did not affect my overall stay. Pricey for a budget hotel with such limited amenities, but still the cheapest in the area.

Room was fine for the price. Nice view from little window. Took like 20 minutes to check in even though I had already paid and I was the only one there.

Sunset stated that Trip Advisor cancelled my reservation and had no room reserved for me in spite of the reservation confirmation code. I ha to find another motel which cost me $220 more than my reservation at Sunset. Trip Advisor never notified me that it cancelled my reservation. In my possession at registration, I had a print out of Trip Advisor’s confirmation. Still, that confirmation was not honored since Sunset was sent a cancellation from Trip Advisor.
