AKA Times Square

I had a wonderful time staying at AKA Times Square. The location was absolutely perfect. Being near Times Square, it was a huge advantage to be able to stop by and rest whenever we got tired while exploring Manhattan. The staff were friendly, and the room amenities were exceptionally clean and comfortable. I would love to stay here again. Thank you.

I had a fantastic stay at AKA Times Square and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York. The standout for me was the incredible service and hospitality from the entire team. They were consistently helpful, attentive, and made the whole experience feel truly welcoming. The location is unbeatable—literally a one-minute walk to Times Square—yet the room remained surprisingly quiet and calm, which was a huge plus. The king bed was very large and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. One small note for future guests is that the sofa bed is a bit on the small side if you are planning on having someone sleep there, but otherwise, the room was perfect. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I look forward to staying here again!

After struggling to find any type of reasonably affordable centrally located NYC Hotel experience that would work for me and my travel companion that I was with, I managed to come across listings for the a.k.a. Time Square. It was a wonderful experience from the front door attendant to the low key easy atmosphere present. The apartment I ended up renting for a week was booked through AirBNB however, it is my understanding that a.k.a. units can be booked independently at their website… my unit was recently remodeled and extremely clean and nicely laid out. There was not a lot of natural light, but the lighting in the facility itself was adequate. However, the kitchen area probably could use a few more under mounts or a track light above. Other than that, the bathrooms were functional and worked well there was plenty of closet and storage space and the sitting areas were very comfortable. This was an ideal situation for me based on my traveling companion who was an unrelated recently widowed, dear friend of mine, and I am pleased that the two bedrooms with the full kitchen really met the bill for both of us. I highly recommend the a.k.a. times Square as a standalone if you're looking to be centrally located in affordable multi bedroom extra space hotel and certainly suggest checking out a.k.a. hotels internationally because this is a new spin on easy traveling!
