The French Quarters

First, the pros - I have been traveling to NYC for work regularly for 20 years and this is one of the nicer rooms I’ve stayed in for the price. Large and clean with a charming balcony and good size bathroom. The con is the neighborhood. Times Square/Hell’s Kitchen is seedy and getting more so. It’s NYC and I get it but the combo smell of garage/weed/pee isn’t pleasant. The restaurants and bars on the street have a tourist trap vibe and are loud and disruptful to sleep. Wish you could transport the hotel into a different NYC neighborhood.

My friends and I have been returning to Hotel Scherman for the past decade. We are never disappointed. The location, the staff, the amenities and the pristine rooms make this a most enjoyable stay in the big apple. 5 stars!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great hotel in a prime location with superb staff. We booked a suite which was perfect for a family of 4 with the bonus of a balcony. Highly recommend . The bar downstairs is stunning with happy hour at 5 - perfect after a day shopping or sightseeing
