The Marcel at Gramercy

Expedia advised us a week before departure that this hotel was closed. They moved us to a grotty place called The Bentley situated on the Upper East Side. I’d give that a miss if I were you. Walked past The Marcel during the trip and it was open but for what purpose we could work out…

This hotel is sister hotel of Bentley Hotel and they always do overbooking and send guests to Bentley, which is in a diffrent area if you wanna stay around gramercy. They fool guests as a regular job. So unfair and ugly!

DO NOT STAY HERE. It's being temporarily used as a homeless shelter and not a hotel. They won't let you know until a few days before that your reservation has been cancelled. Front desk isn't accommodating at all.
