Waldorf Astoria

Wow, I don't even know where to begin. Starting with online check-in, as a Diamond, I could pick a Jr Suite from the property map on the app...I have never been able to select an upgraded room like that before in all my time as a Hilton customer. Room wasn't quite ready when I arrived around 2PM which was fine, I hung out in the beautiful lobby getting some work done while on the super comfy couch and a little people watching. The Jr Suite itself was pristine, nice view of Park Avenue and huge by NYC standards. Shower area was absolutely huge. Welcome amenity was amazing (mix of chocolate and desserts) and honestly was not expecting it at all. Visit to the gym and it was pristine and very spacious. Not an "abundance" of equipment per se but there was a nice variety and considering the size and clientele of the hotel, it probably never gets super full. Breakfast was fantastic as well down in Lex Yard, I forgot my server's name (she had a very unique one) but she was simply amazing and so sweet. Was also granted a 2PM check-out with 0 hassle via the chat function (and housekeeping did not knock on my door before that time which was much appreciated). This WA definitely sets the standards for all WA in the U.S. and is definitely the best one I've stayed in the U.S.

We recently enjoyed an exceptional family trip at your hotel. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Luis, to the seamless check-in process with Getania, every detail was outstanding. I want to specifically highlight the efforts of Alejandra from the concierge team. We contacted her prior to our arrival to coordinate dinner reservations for our group of 20 family members. She was incredibly helpful with those arrangements, as well as booking various activities for our group throughout the stay. The Waldorf made this family trip an unforgettable experience. We look forward to staying with you again the next time we visit the city.

A very nice stay. Impressed me. It is very rare to find this level of the lobby, bar, room, and service in Manhattan.
