My daughter and I reserved 2 rooms a month ahead of our stay. One room had early check in. When we arrived early check in went well. We put all luggage in that room and went to enjoy the boardwalk. Came back to check in at room 2 around 7:30pm. Line was long so we did kiosk check in. Kiosk worked till time to disperse keycards. We asked for 2 keycards only 1 came out. Went to room 2 keycard didn't work. I'm in my 60s and called my daughter after call to hotel liasion and security didn't help. Daughter said come back to room 1 since i can't do a lot of walking and she would speak to front desk. They were no help. Thought she was scamming the hotel since the room was booked to me. They finally gave her a new keycard and she walked back to room 2 and this card didn't work. This happened a 3rd time keycard not working. The whole time daughter walking back and forth with all luggage like a nomad as this whole keycard system failed. Finally given a room in a different section of hotel far away from me and her son whose clothes she had in her bag, so he couldn't change into night clothes. Hotel then promised to find rooms closer together for us that next day. They did not. They said they would put a cot in the room my daughter ended up in since it had only one bed. They did not. I couldn't make this up. Bottom line do better with your IT systems. Any hotel as large as Harrahs should be able to match a room to a keycard and inform front desk personnel everybody is not trying to scam hotel.

We go to Atlantic City frequently, but this time our room did not seem cleaned. There were coffee stains all over the tables by the coffee machine. We found hair in the refrigerator and the bathroom floor was sticky when we arrived. Seems like they just made the bed and that's it. I checked in early online around 11am and notified of my arrival at 3PM so there was plenty of time to clean the room. It was a comped room, but even so it should still be cleaned considering the money we save on the room goes to the casino anyway.

Rooms are not the cleanest. No housekeeping even though we were there 4 nights. But the biggest offense is their “LAUREL” text assistant. It offered us a free extra night and when we accepted, they refused to give it even though there were still pet rooms available (which we were in). I actually thought they were giving us a free night because we PAID for the 4 we were there (they were not comped even though I had none pet rooms available for comp). I don’t think they should send those offers out if they have no intention of honoring them. As soon as another casino offers pet rooms, we will be switching or trying the new Marriott next to Tropicana which is pet friendly.
