RAMADA INN SOUTH PLAINFIELD/PI

Hotel was raided by cops on August 5th. 2020. 20 police cruisers. Since then they are not answering phones. I’m fighting with Hotwire to get my money back cuz they couldn’t reach em. Don’t rent from them no rooms

My company is in town for training. We reserved multiple rooms through Hotels.com for the location and price (3 Star hotel on there). Some were placed in smoking rooms for convenience. The smoking rooms were severely infested. Cockroaches, horse flies, ants, gnats, and mosquitoes. I can not adjust the temperature in my shower and I’ve notified the front desk twice. The wallpaper is falling off all over each rooms bathroom, the knobs on the air conditioning unit were replaced with stove knobs that don’t fit and I have to use vice grips to adjust the air and good luck knowing what setting it’s on. Going to try my vice grips to adjust the shower temperature tonight. One of my crew members moved rooms and said there was an improvement on the bug problem. Heavy heavy gang activity outside as well, one of my crew members was approached. Bring some protection or don’t go for a cigarette without sitting in your vehicle. Box TVs, Elevator needs inspection, the hallways wreak!

You get what you pay for. Very minimalistic. Strong smoking odor in the lobby. Was charged $10 deposit for the plastic key card. Heater/ac in the room difficult to adjust. Ordered a queen bed but got a double. Thankfully it was only me. Glad I only needed it to sleep.
