Motel 6 Albuquerque - Midtown

We are a party of 4 travelling around the US. Over the past 4 weeks we have stayed in many hotel/motels & this is by far the worst. Sits in between 2 extremely busy roads, so it was very noisy. Walls are paper thin, we could here everything going on next door (talking, phone ringing, doors etc) so again very noisy, we hardly slept a wink. Moreover, the room initially looked ok ish & smelt fresh, but after having a water spillage & grabbing a towel to mop it up the towel was black with dirt from the floor. God knows when it was last cleaned properly. I went directly to reception with the towel & was told by a young lad called Luis there was nothing he could do. Asked for the manager & was advised he gone home. On checking out I asked for the manager & took the towel with me to show them. She didn't seem surprised. She said sorry & said she would give a 30% discount on the room charge. But on checking my bank I have been charged full amount. Sent message via the booking.com app but no reply.

We stayed in this motel on a recent road trip in May 2025. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower worked fine and the refrigerator worked very well. There was a good ice machine close by and the dog area was very good and well supplied with doggy do bags. The grounds were clean and the staff was very accommodating.

The staff was very professional and helpful and willing to help you. The cleaning staff were excellent and hard workers and made me feel safe staying at the hotel. The atmosphere was quiet and people minded their own business. The security did a great job at night looking out for the cars and property. I was very satisfied with my stay and for the price it was a comfortable and safe experience.
