PLAZA HOTEL LAS VEGAS

Nothing can beat the atmosphere for this cool historic hotel that is also rumored to be haunted. Our room had either a full or a queen bed - they were out of Kings when I booked. I'm sure I booked a queen, but the size of the bed was small and two full sized adults had a hard time fitting on it. It was a rough sleep. The mattress sagged toward the middle as well. In hindsight, I should have brought up the fact that the bed was not what we'd booked, but I wasn't 100% positive at the time. The room was nice, the bed being the exception, and the front desk responsive when we asked for two luggage racks for suitcases. We had none in there initially. The swamp cooler would randomly stop working during the night and made the room uncomfortable. Lots of celebrities and infamous characters have stayed here over the years. There's a lot of photos and framed info along the walls by the rooms. We wandered around reading everything.

Great history, friendly staff. Worth the price.

Mediocre hotel room, no coffee in room, no answer despite multiple attempts to call front desk. If you're here only for the casino then I'm sure it's fine but would not recommend the hotel if you want someplace comfortable and guest oriented
