We had a very disappointing stay. Booked for a week, but checked out 3 days early because of conditions. When we checked out, the manager (I guess) didn't even ask why we were leaving early. When I asked if she was interested in why we were leaving early, her reply was that, "No, we have people leave early all the time.". My immediate thought was that I can understand that fact. I didn't bother following up with additional information. It was clear that there was no interest in correcting the correctable, and I could understand why people cut their time short.
On the day of our arrival, we tried to call to confirm our arrival time. Busy signal all day, including when we arrived in the office and called while standing in the office, listening to he phone not ring. They did have rooms, so no big deal, just a bit of unnecessary angst.
We appreciated the location and the view overlooking the city below. Our unit was 2-story, which was fine. Noted that updates were needed. When we retired downstairs, we all began sneezing uncontrollably. As we were trying to sleep, a repetitive noise kept us awake (turned out to be a faulty commode valve. When I tried to shut off the water line to that commode, the knob fell off in my hand before I would even turn it. Reported it the next morning and maintenance came to repair tank assembly and shutoff valve (Which they did in record time. They were capable and really knew what they were doing!). Good until the next morning when the showerheads were plugged. When we asked office about dirty downstairs bedrooms, we were assured that they were clean and it was just us (despite the fact that there was a ridge of dirt along the bottom of the closet door.). We didn't even mention the grease dripping from the vent above the stove. Wi-fi?? no reliable connection. Young guy in office explained that there was only one router and it was in the main office, far from our unit, Manager swore that it was the same Wi-fi across the property. No TV reception downstairs...
We had already invested more time with repairs than we had in enjoying the area that we decided to head home rather than try to change units (if available together with packing/unpacking again.). The complex is a POA so I guess the quality of the units might vary and we were perhaps just unlucky, but the manager attitude precluded our checking that out.
