Something has changed. I regularly stay here when traveling fir work. I've always been very satisfied, but clearly there have been changes. Room maintenance is declining...my last three visits found obvious damage or equipment failures that could only have ignored. The room amenities have been reduced. Cleanliness in rooms and common areas is down...don't look too closely inside the elevators. There are no smoking signs everywhere, but clearly those are only for non-pot smokers. A co-worker stayed here recently after I said I stay here regularly. They said that visit will be the last. I think it's time to move on.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Easy to get to, many decent dining options very close to hotel. One thing that didn't effect my rating, the decor is kind of hideous. Odd colors, weird looking light fixtures. Not my style, but hardly something to detract from a decent hotel. But I will definitely stay here the next time travel takes me to Albany.

My room suffered from several maintenance issues. The room had a strong mildew smell, particularly by the bathroom. There were several spots where it looked like prior water damage could still be seen. Additionally the window in our room did not latch in a way that blocked out noise from outside, and led to us being kept up til midnight when an event at the hotel had several n noisy guests congregating in the parking lot outside our room. I called the front desk about it, which was a struggle as the phone in the room didn’t work very well, but no effective action was taken, making it very hard to sleep when we had an early morning the next day. Additionally our bedding had several stains and I found hairs that weren’t ours in the bathroom. I would not stay again.
