University Manor Inn

Somehow I got fooled into thinking that across from campus this would be a place that would often accommodate student parents, visiting faculty and may even be associated with the university it bears in the name. Far from it! I should have read the reviews? The rooms stinks, air through the window or AC machine brings just more dumpster smells (it was only inches under the air intake), towels were dirty, w old wadded towel draped around the toilet base, awful! Plus rowdy guests returning late from bars hanging out outside and the final straw: A loud argument that brought police to the scene at 3:30am arresting three guests for the altercation. This place should be closed down for all its violations. I demanded and received some refund from the exorbitant price they ask for on weekends.

Just should have kept driving------ The room smelled like urine, there was brown streaks and burn holes in the blankets and slept with clothes and shoes on.. Something red (not blood) smeared on the bathroom door.The fridge was not working and full, of mold, Would not even use the shower.The towel rack fell off the wall. For the price, JUST KEEP DRIVING

I made my reservations weeks in advance with confirmation. Arrived the night of my stay and the bald Indian guy behind the desk says he does not have my reservation. I show him my confirmation which was "pay when you stay" booking. He claims he ran my credit card and it failed so he cancelled my booking. Wrong! There is nothing on my credit card; I pay cash for everything on vacation - always. I had also used this card half a dozen times without issue during to course of the week to hold other hotel stays. The credit card was supposed to be used ONLY to hold the reservation until I arrived. I am certain that he did not run the card or it would have been accepted but it is very unsettling to hear him say he tried to make an unauthorized charge to my credit card. He also told me that he did not have a room available unless my family of 4 wanted to stay in a single bed room. The parking lot was practically empty. Something is crooked about the way this guy is conducting business. I would not trust him with my personal information.
