Residence Inn Fishkill

SpringHills Suite Marriott is an all-suite hotel with spacious rooms. Accessible parking is at a premium. More spaces should be allocated for this designation. As one enters the suite, a sofábed and footrest are the first furniture on the right of the door. A refreshment niche with snacks, water, coffee, microwave and mini-fridge is on one side of the entrance area. Opposite are a desk and chair for work across the sofa. The jumbo jumbo bed is comfortable, but the pillows are too soft. Everyone in our group got neck pain. The shower is a little tricky with two body sprays of water on one side that shoots straight into the center of the shower. It takes a bit of thinking to know how to use the shower well. Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash dispensers are inside the stall. In the lobby, breakfast is provided in the morning, and the menu changes slightly every day. There is a bar towards the back of the lobby with limited amounts of cocktails and liquor. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I forgot my toothbrush and they gave me one. Just got a text message that I left behind a garment in my suite. They will send it to me via a third party for a fee.

Love the Residence Inn. I have my first puppy and took her on our first road trip. My puppy is an active breed so we plan a hiking trip close to Beacon trail head. The trip is excellent. It was a bit cold. Many restaurants allow dogs but you need to ask. The Sunday farm market in beacon is excellent. We took a drive to culinary institute of America. The campus is very nice. Residence inn breakfast, room amenities, cleanliness and service is consistently outstanding. My puppy also appreciated. See you soon!

Spring Hill Suites and Residents Inn share a lobby. You’re better off checking price as amenities are the same. This is “fine”. It’s RIGHT off the highway, with ample grass for our dogs. While we are here there are TONS of snow mounds, that’s weather and no one has control over that. There is parking in the front and around back, again w lots of grass. For the most part you can’t go wrong with RI!
