Yikes. Avoid if you have a low toleration for loud children in the lobby at night. You will love it if you have loud children they need playmates. this is not the front desks issue/ this is just the client base.

Stayed on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. Expected the hotel to have the Pool/Spa, Fire pit, restaurant available. Front desk at check in was ambivalent about Gold status. Said the Spa at the pool is closed for renovations, the restaurant is closed for renovations, and the fire pit is not safety ready for the season yet. The spa had plywood covering it. The restaurant was closed for dinner and breakfast, they put out coffee and muffins in the morning. The bar was closed. No signs of kitchen renovations. The bed was very comfortable. The TV remote could be complicated for some. On a Sunday night, your dinner options are limited. The nearby diner was busy. We found a place called Handshakes nearby, open Sundays to 10 PM, near Hopewell Junction. A letter to Hilton resulted in some extra points to us, but no suggestion that the management issues were ever resolved. PLEASE call ahead if you expect to pay full price and anticipate amenities.

My wife and I stayed here twice on our round trip to Florida with our little Pembroke Corgi. Long days on the road and we decided to stay at nicer hotels this time around. THE GOOD: This is a nice hotel, the staff welcomed us and even got us in our room early. The room was beautiful and perfectly situated per my request for easy access to an exit to take the dog out. I’ve got nothing bad to say about the staff or the room. THE BAD: We stayed in numerous Hampton Inns (Hilton Owned) on our trip, all very nice, but no consistency in dog fees, one’s $25, one’s $75? This is ridiculous. It’s a profit maker, there are very few times a dog requires a $75 “clean after”. And no breakfast except a $17 buffet? At this price point? Are you kidding me? THE UGLY: On both our visits we ate at the restaurant in the hotel. Both times we were there right at opening, nobody else there, hungry after a long day on the road. Both times we waited a long time to be seated and then we finally were seated we weren’t even spoken to again for more than 5 minutes (no water, no beverage order) We left. Fine hotel with a very badly staffed restaurant. One is attached to the other I believe when it comes to a review. Hotel: 9 Restaurant:0
