After booking my hotel stay for July 4 to 5 through Priceline.com, I felt secure with my confirmation email arriving on June 20, detailing every aspect of my reservation and assuring me all was set. Yet, when I walked into the hotel today, ready to check in, I was met with utter confusion and disappointment—the staff informed me my booking had been cancelled due to a third-party vendor overbooking their allotment. Instead of a warm welcome, I was handed a phone number unrelated to Priceline and sent off to solve a mystery I hadn’t signed up for. The number is 1407-401-9366. When I called this number, the representative claimed my reservation was cancelled way back on April 9th and, astonishingly, labeled it non-refundable. This made absolutely no sense, especially since I’d never cancelled my booking, and my confirmation clearly stated I’d be eligible for a full refund if I cancelled by June 30th. The fact that Priceline sent me a confirmation as recently as June 20 only deepened the puzzle—my reservation was supposed to be valid and active. It wasn’t just me; there is recent pattern here with this hotel. Several guests have recently posted google reviews with the same “reservation cancelled” story exactly like mine when booking this hotel. They all received a phone number to call. I then called Priceline directly and they advised me the reservation is active. I called the hotel and they said it was cancelled. The hotel won’t give me the cancellation date. Priceline’s response added further frustration—they claimed they couldn’t issue a refund without confirmation from the third party, which I never knowingly engaged with. My trust and business were placed with Priceline, and their failure to deliver deserves accountability. I am unequivocally entitled to a full refund. To support my claim, I’ve attached my confirmation and included screenshots of reviews from other guests who have endured the same ordeal—reservations cancelled without warning, and instructions to contact obscure third-party vendors. This widespread issue feels more like a scam than a simple oversight.

We did not expect to be woken up at 7 am Saturday morning by loud noises from the next door room. It was going through renovation and the smell of the oil based paint was nauseating. We were hoping to share the feedback with someone at the front desk. After waiting for 30 min for someone to show up we just gave up and left. Not what you’d expect from a $300 a night hotel 😡
