Howard Johnson Inn Jamaica Jfk Airport

Absolutely horrible experience. Arrived July 2nd after 8 hour flight. No A/C in lobby. Bed crunched when sat on. TV not working. Blinds broken. Exhausted but already charged and couldn’t begin to find another hotel. Complained to front desk, said no manager to talk with. Called corporate, hotel and followed up with email..no response.

This place should not appear on any Search engine . I checked in and paid only to have to check right out . This property is dirty dark and unkept. They advertise amenities that they don’t have. They didn’t have a working Tv,AC or a refrigerator, The room was full of knats Mo linen for the pillows . The price was outrageous $332 for one night . They kept my money after I requested a full refund. They lied like my money would be returned to my card. My stay was June 13,2026 . Today is June 27, 2026. They are scamming people. False advertisement and fraud. I had to book another hotel. My stay was only for one night. I wasn’t there longer than 45 mins. That’s because the offered a second rom that was worst than the first room. There is no elevator in the lobby . You have to struggle with luggage down the steps. The customer service was HORRIBLE!!!!!

Stayed as we had an over night layover, suited our needs, room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Have complimentary shuttle to airport was very useful
