Great location for going to the Erie Canal. It is a throwback to the 50s or 60s and we loved it. Large rooms-we had two queen beds and a nice area with a couch and a table with two chairs. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The nice thing was there was a sink in the bathroom and another sink outside the bathroom with a mirror and great lighting. Easy for two or more people to get ready in the morning. The room was incredibly clean. It was extremely quiet and we slept so well! This is a family owned and operated motel and you could really tell they love what they do. The grounds are beautiful. All staff were extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend staying here. It is a hidden gem. When you drive in, you will never guess what is behind the front facade.

Nice stay in Lockport. Clean, big room, bed was good ( a mattress topper would be great), friendly & helpful staff. It’s not for everyone, since it’s older and a bit worn on some of the edges. It’s 1 mile from our destination of the Erie Canal Discovery Center and the famous canal locks, so walking distance (nicer if you walk through the neighborhoods 1 block off the main road). One thing that could have been a problem: smoking allowed on the shared exterior hallway, so if you open the window, you could be inhaling carcinogens. Maybe it’d be good to designate some outside spaces as no smoking - or better yet, make only some spaces smoking?

Had a great stay. Hotel was older but very clean and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained. Office was very friendly and accommodating. Bed was very comfortable and linens were clean. Only thing missing was breakfast but coffee was available in the office every morning. The only negative I can add is that the WIFI was very weak and not working well at least in our room. Needs to be updated. Can see that it would be a good place for cyclists biking the Erie Canal. Storage available for bikes.
