Gurney’s Inn Resort Spa & Conference Center

We had a great time! Gurney's has really turned it around, service-wise. We had terrific service at check in, at the beach and at the restaurant and fire pit.

My Wife and I enjoyed a nice four day trip to Gurney’s Montauk Resort this week. Our room was located right on the beach, and it was a joy to open the sliding doors of our bedroom and sit out on our deck and watch the waves gently crashing on the beach. Two pilot whales and a pod of dolphins provided daily entertainment just offshore. The room was clean and well maintained and the beach was manicured each morning. We ate breakfasts and dinners meals at Gigi’s restaurant on-site every day, and the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had a light lunch at The Dunes each day and the sandwiches were fine. “Shoulder season” is definitely the best time to visit Gurney’s for a relaxed experience where you have the property to yourself. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

Awful service from check-in through check-out. Dismissive, rude staff, dated, musty rooms, three flights of steep outdoor motel type stairs with no elevator. Amazing location with huge potential! Needs new management and facilities upgrade.
