Manhattan Broadway Hotel

Stayed at Doxie for a last minute concert trip. Booked the twin room to share with my daughter. We arrived just after 4pm - the front desk staff of the dochsand themes hotel was very polite and helpful. We went straight to our room (we took the stairs but there is a super cute elevator available!). When we arrived in our room it was very hot because the window AC was off, but we turned it on and 5 minutes later it was fine. We booked a twin room for our one night - and while it was a very small room - it was very well appointed! Foam mattresses were comfortable, bathroom was cute with the tiled floor and a window for ventilation. Shower was plenty hot. (It is a rain shower in room 207!). The room didn’t have covered storage but the open air hanging rack and luggage storage was great. The tea cup station and bathroom amenities were all well appointed. We enjoyed being close to Times Square and Penn station / MSG. We departed at 5am to head to the train and checkout was a breeze. We would stay here again for a short stay! We definitely liked having 2 twin beds vs sharing a single bed!

Understandably a 2-star hotel. Service is 1 star to be honest. If you’re looking for budget not a bad place. Quality is very low

Clean room, I had booked a single but hoped for the double bed instead were two single beds. Furniture ok and in order. Lacks wardrobe for clothes arrangement and suitcase. Clean and well-equipped bathroom with hairdryer and shampoo or mode in the dispenser. The bidet is missing.... (Possible that it is only an Italian thing????) small note at the reception, no smile no warm welcome, now a smile could also do it since the manager should always have a friendly predisposition. I checked in at 4pm so it didn't seem like such a difficult or particular time. Exorbitant price (600 € for two nights and without breakfast) Ok you are downtown but it is not even a 5-star Hilton. I think prices could keep them lower.
