Driftwood Suites

It was an older family motel. Definitely had the flavor of a 1950's motel. It had been maintained well. Liked the pink bathroom. The staff was very friendly and talked a lot. It was also a lot cheaper than the $350 going rates for things near the falls. Since I go to a Hotel to sleep and shower, I didn't care if I had a fancy room. The area it's located in is fine, and it's right on the route headed east from Buffalo to I90.

This is the most pleasant Motel I have ever seen in this area. Clean and hospitable. The family owned business is so inviting and friendly. Safe neighborhood. Also disregard anybody that says they have bugs that is a HUGE LIE. I have been there multiple times and in different rooms. Never have I seen a bug inside anywhere. Yeah sure a fly flew in when I opened the door. So clean 100% recommend.

You get what you pay for and we knew this was a low budget stay. The check in lady was friendly and the rooms very accessible. However the rooms themselves were not clean - I know it was not a five star hotel, but I do expect basic cleanliness. There were marks on the walls and the beds didn’t seem very well cared for. We nearly swallowed the cost and booked somewhere else but we just had a couple of glasses of wine and slept through it!
