This place has started renting rooms to transients. They stand outside smoking, cursing, yelling, arguing. Don't do it to yourself, go a little further to the places in Bellerose on Jericho instead. Bellerose is not as close to the LIRR into Manhattan but you can walk from the locations 15 mins to the LIRR station or take the Q36 bus to the Queens Village Station for $2.75US a person. Then catch the LIRR into Manhattan from Queens Village for $10 one way, $8 on weekends. The transients should not be in this neighborhood, they are really bringing the area down.

After a connecting flight was cancelled I had to find somewhere at very short notice. This place is tired, dirty, noisy and I was glad to escape again a few hours later. The place smells of smoke and there were some folks riding a moped in the reception area. Not a pleasant or relaxing environment. Don't go here

I was told on the phone when I booked that it would be $65 to stay till 6pm the following day. We paid $104 to stay the night, so this seemed fair. I was told I would tell the front desk at check in or in the morning and there would be no problem. At arrival, I was told this was not the case and it would be $100 extra, not $65. The front desk staff was extremely unhelpful and rude when I told her about my previous phone call. They said I would have to deal with it in the morning. Tried to contact manger, no response. In the morning at 6am, the front desk said I had to wait until day shift came in. Then finally, I was able to pay $65 to stay till 5pm. But it could only be done in cash, which seemed sketchy to me. The room smelled of smoke. There was an empty candy wrapper on the bed. Hairs that weren’t mine were all over the inner bed covers, some of which looked like pubes. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had such a bad experience. It’s unfortunate, because whoever I talked to on the phone was quite nice.
