Cockroaches, filthy tub, drug dealing and using in the parking lot, broken side door. Totally unsafe. We booked for two nights and cancelled second night Spoke with staff and even corporate. They do not care. Disgusting and awful. Avoid at all costs

I am a RediRewards member and stay at Red Roofs if I need a budget hotel in the area. This is not only the WORST Red Roof (or hotel in general) I have ever stayed in. The room had a bad smell when we checked in and they offered to move us to a second floor room. We needed a first floor, however. The odor was noticeable every time we entered the room. Kind of a combo of mildew and stale 3rd hand smoke. I have allergies but my RN friend does not. We both woke with bad congestion each morning and had to take meds for it. Another patron who got switched to this hotel after an over-booking situation in Lake George said she couldn't run the air conditioning because her son has asthma and it was moldy and affecting his breathing. They do surface cleans and the lobby is clean but that's about it. Aside from the rooms I happened to snap a pic of the office area when the door was open. Not clean and organized, by any means. There was an OPEN SOAP in the shower when we checked in. Mold at the bottom of the shower curtain and long standing grime was prevalent in the bathroom on floors, tub, and toilet. No closet (there is a hanging bar in the room) or dressers. We needed to literally move furniture to plug in the microwave (fridge and microwave in the rooms is the one positive). The thinnest bedding ever! They did supply extra blankets when asked. Both mattresses had a tilt like they were never rotated. We had to use a hanger with the clips to keep the drapes from separating. The desk person, when told about the issues at checkout, remained silent and just stared at us. However, the other guest said that after we walked out she told the cleaning person "Don't worry about it. They are leaving anyway." The other guest came out to our car to tell us. I had to ask for the free water we were supposed to get at check-in as a member as we were leaving. The desk person acted like it was a chore. I thought about starting a case and asking for a partial refund but am putting this behind me. Bottom line: DON'T STAY IN THE QUEENSBURY RED ROOF!!

Places dirty only stayed one night but paid for two they will not give me my money back. Don’t recommend.
