We stayed at this hotel for two nights so that we could easily get to the Hampton Beaches without paying Hampton prices. We live about an hour away from this hotel, so we could drive home after going to the Hamptons, but it's nice to not have to do that at the end of a long beach day. We have stayed here at least once in the past. On our way there, I called to see if it would be possible to check in a few hours early. I spoke to a young man named Kevin who told me that he had a room available. He was so polite and professional over the phone. When we arrived, Kevin greeted me, remembered I had called and again treated me so politely and professionally. He offered to help with our bags, asked if there was anything we needed. He said " I'm just a phone call away if you need anything!" We stay in so many lovely, fancy hotels and resorts around the world multiple times in a year and Kevin could be the face of any of them. He's an asset to the Holiday Inn Express! The bed was so comfortable, the cleaning staff did a great job, my husband enjoyed the breakfast and we both enjoyed the convenient location!

We booked a Handicapped Accessible room, but when we got there we found that the room was on the second floor and both elevators were out of service. They stayed that way for 2 days. The hotel gave us a substitute on fhe 1st floor. It was OK but not what we booked. On the other hand, breakfast was good - better than average.

Very clean rooms, comfortable bed. Front desk staff, Matthew and Diane, were excellent - went “above and beyond” for their guests. We were staying here for a wedding and wanted to get ready at hotel (early check-in). Diane actually called us personally when our room was ready!
