HOLIDAY INN ROCHESTER-AIRPORT

Nothing positives about this hotel. Everything is overpriced and outdated. Beds and shower are dirty. Only the hotel lobby is clean and updated. Therefore, it is very easy to be catfished into getting a room here.

I was booked here for business travel and this place by far was the worst hotel I have ever experienced. I should mention my stay only lasted a whole 15 minutes. Upon arrival and waited for 10 minutes before someone finally greeted me at the Front Desk. The male working that night was unprofessional and not dressed appropriately. He had trouble finding my reservation because no computer system was present to search my confirmation number. I then noticed scribbled on a piece of paper in plain view for others to see was my name along with others traveling in my group. He handed me a room key and off I went. I opened the door and to my dismay the bathroom ceiling was falling down with debris all over the floor. Also a strong stench that smelled like a high content of mold present. This damage was there for some time. I immediately turned around and headed back to the Front Desk to make a complaint. Again no person was present. My patience now running very thin I waited a whole two minutes, threw my key on the desk and left the property. As a courtesy I called the hotel and to my surprise the person who answered the phone gave me an answer that stocked me. He said "I would never stay here because this place is a POS." Definitely read some of the recent reviews for this place posted online and you will be shocked.

I paid for 2 nights; I didn’t stay for either. The hotel owner’s physical appearance is your first indicator of what kind of experience you’ll have here. He’s never at the desk, you’ll have to call him each time you want something like, a new room that maybe doesn’t have thrash strewn about it from mice, or perhaps more than 1 towel or a bar of soap for the the bathroom. And I hope you not only like your health compromised or your safety - he told us to walk about the hotel and let ourselves in to various rooms to see if those were better than the original one he sent us to - how about your financial safety? Would you like to compromise that? If so then come on down to this hotel. He’ll write your credit card number and home address down on a random piece of paper that will be subsequently left unattended at the front desk when he leaves it to do god knows what else. There was nobody else in this hotel. I checked out after just a couple hours. This place needs to be shut down - again. Do your research. This place has been shut down by dept of health before. There is no pool. They are thieves. There is a reason there is no computer check in system.
