Rockville Centre Inn

An excellent hotel that actually matches the photos on the website! Atrium and lobby were pristine which bode well for the rest of the place. They have coffee/tea available 24/7. The free breakfast was 6 am-10 am with eggs/sausage/waffle station. All sorts of yogurts and oatmeal available. Pretty standard stuff. The hotel is located right next to some railroad tracks (right outside my rooms window) but I couldn’t hear them at all when they passed by. I had been concerned about the possible noise because I am a light sleeper but really could not hear the trains at all. The room was very clean and had no signs of wear and tear at all. I had the 2 queen bed/sofa bed room and it was a giant room with plenty of room to spread out. Overall, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and would definitely stay here again. I did notice that it was a little loud in the atrium during breakfast and that the sound carried to the hallways. I suspect the rooms closest to the atrium could hear the noise during breakfast so I would recommend asking for a room away from it.

Hampton Inn & Suites is located off of Sunrise Highway Route 27, approximately seven miles from JFK International and fourteen miles from LaGuardia International airports. The property is located near several restaurants and fast-food establishments. A vehicle may be needed to access all local amenities; traffic may be hazardous to pedestrians. Immediate traffic noise on either side of the hotel and intersection is minimal. Train noise was apparent on the hotel side facing the tracks. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Guest room was mostly clean and functional. Guest suite climate control appeared antiquated yet functional. Fitness center appeared clean and functional, but did not use at the time of my stay. Swimming pool appeared clean but did not use at the time of my stay. Complimentary breakfast available with limited variety and selection and average quality. Please be advised, no restaurant on-site. Free parking available but must register vehicle with front desk. Overall, okay stay. I would consider staying at this hotel when visiting the Rockville Centre area or short airport layovers in the future.

Always a great experience due to convenience, comfort, cleanlines and the incredible staff, especially the ladies in the breakfat room
