We booked this hotel for two nights. We only stayed one. Despite being labeled a "Super 8" online, the sign out front says "Rodeway Inn". It seems to be in a state of transition/renovation. We checked in and made our way to our room (101) where we found the door propped open. The only things "right" about this room were the bed and the bathroom. It was obviously in a state of renovation. There was no other furniture, including lighting of any kind. The electricity on one side of the bed did not work. Cabinets were unfinished. One of the closet doors wasn't mounted, there were no coat hangers, no coffee machine, no microwave, no refrigerator--nothing. The countertop to one of the cabinets was missing! When we brought all of this to the attention of the desk clerk he seemed genuinely confused about our concerns, pointing out that the HVAC unit was brand new. He obviously had no idea about what is bare minimum for hotel amenities these days. But even without the amenities, the room was obviously in an unfinished state and should not have been rented.

One of the worst hotels you should avoid — filthy, with noisy staff who disturb you. They don’t provide the room you reserved, and the bathroom is cracked. This hotel doesn’t even deserve one star, but there is no option.

This place is an open market drug den. I had business in near by Webster. I was looking for a convenient place to sleep. I was greeted by four drug addicts in the parking lot. Strike one. I was met by a guy behind the counter that was clearly under the influence. I was forced, ironically, to sign a paper declaring my room to be smoke and drug free. Strike two. When I got to the room, through a maze of dark and menacing stairwells, the lights didn't work. There was a giant hole in the wall and the beds haven't been cleaned since George Bush was president. The toilet was continuously running. Strike three. I'm out of here. Zero stars.
