Red Roof Plus Long Island

I read some of the negative reviews after I booked the room so I was a little apprehensive when we got there. I was pleasantly surprised. It is not fancy and a little rundown (it could use a paint job and some new carpets, but it was very clean and the staff was very nice and very attentive and accommodating. I would stay there again.

This place was HORRIBLE! Needs to be renovated.. unsavory customers and area! 0ut of 5 stars.. no jokes.. it gets O.

Anyone rating this ‘hotel’ as excellent is simply lying. It is literally a homeless shelter. The state pays fleabag hotels like this one to warehouse their failures, and the result is just what you’d expect - it isn’t actually a hotel anymore, so for the company that manages the Red Roof brand to allow a location to continue calling itself a hotel when in fact it’s just project housing amounts to deliberate fraud and they should be sued as such. I’m a guest paying 200 bucks a night for an online booking at a hotel and instead getting a flop house. I don’t give a crap what kinds of agreements are made between hotels and the state, it just has to be DISCLOSED.
