Continental Inn Charlotte

Afraid to turn off the lights, for fear of what might crawl on me. I can’t even bring myself to lay down on the disgusting bed. I’m up all night rocking because I’m so scared to even lay down. We are here because our flight got RE-routed here. 3.5 stars...whatever. This place is in the same level as sleeping under an overpass (smelly, damp, disgusting). I’m going to have nightmares for nights to come, thinking about this disgusting place. All the furniture is all worn, bathrooms are disgusting. Get me out of this hell hole!

Where to start? Don't trust the online pictures... Rooms smelled bad, towels were kids size and bed is small for two. They will take a photocopy of your credit card, it's almost 2020 and they don't have a machine for it. We are definitely not going back to this place. I don't recommend.

My husband and I stayed for one night after a long flight & just needed a place to rest before driving 3 hours home. Front desk staff was very friendly and assured that we would have a quiet room. Here’s the pros and cons: Pros: Microwave& fridge in room. Free HBO. Decent unsecured WiFi. Free parking. Free “meh” breakfast. Nice flat screen tv. Pleasant staff, but a bit too suspicious of guests. Decent AC. Cons: Sirens all night due to location near police & rescue squad. I was put in a room next to people who smoked outside my room late at night in order to avoid all the cameras. LOTS of cameras everywhere & they DO watch. Noisy road all night. Shabby bedding & very small beds. Not enough towels for two people. Outdated furniture. Carpet dirty. Toilet kept running. Low price for our stay or I would be overly upset....will pay more next time.
