EMBASSY SUITES FAYETTEVILLE

Was here on business and it was not a great experience. The hotel was very rundown and showing wear. The furniture was worn and stained - if you didn't know better, you'd think the place was about to be totally renovated because nothing was kept up. The bar had limited service and happy hour had an upcharge for certain brands/drinks. The snacks set out for happy hour were of the pretzel and cracker variety. Not worth it. The rooms were clean, but I got a corner room and there was no chair or sofa or separate living area like most Embassy Suite rooms. And no, I didn't get a price break on this small room. Plenty of parking here. My biggest complaint is about the meeting rooms. The meeting room at the Embassy was booked so they sent me to the Springfield hotel which shares the same parking lot. The Embassy does have a separate wing for meeting rooms and a separate entrance. This can be easily mistaken as the meeting rooms for the Springfield. You're at the mercy of an understanding front desk clerk to help you figure out where the hell your meeting is. And no, there is no inside connection between the two hotels. You have to walk out in the parking lot. Not a lot of choice in FAY, but you'll get a much better experience at the Hilton Garden Inn on Sycamore Dairy than this Embassy Suites.

The hotel is not typical Embassy quality. I have stayed and several Embassy Suites in several states, but this one is subpar! My room is loud due to hearing all of the traffic from the interstate. The pillows are terrible. The room has something on the walls! The breakfast is standard hotel food. The small omelette had a funny metallic taste. The bacon, sausage, and potatoes were cold. Disappointed
