Clarion Greensboro Airport

I had a terrible experience at Wyndham Garden this past weekend. To begin, my friend and I were planning on sharing a room. I booked the room under my name, but she arrived first. She gave Spencer at the front desk the name it was booked under, even spelling out my last name to ensure there wasn't any confusion. He told her multiple times that there was no booking under my name. She reached out to me but I didn't receive her texts and calls immediately, so she was forced to just sit and wait. When I saw her messages I sent over my booking confirmation number while on FaceTime with my friend. I heard her give Spencer the number and he immediately found the booking, which was under the correct name. My friend asked why he wasn't able to find it the first several times he looked and he responded by saying that she had pronounced it wrong. She explained that she had spelled it out for him multiple times because she knows that it isn't pronounced the way it is spelled (although the difference is by ONE letter...it's not that complicated of a name). Overall, this started off the trip on a bad note. It was extremely frustrating to have such an incompetent and unapologetic staff member. Then, my friend finally gets to our room and she immediately texts me to tell me that it is not in great condition. There was hair around the room, including on the bed, the overall room was run down and had lots of wear and tear, there was a bad smell, and there was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. I called and asked for us to be moved to a better room and they moved us. This room still showed the same amount of wear and tear, had mold in the bathroom shower, hair on the beds, etc. We didn't report this because we knew at this point there wasn't going to be a clean room and it was later in the evening. Once I got the hotel, I realized it really was gross. I laid in the bed and then when I got up a little later I realized that there were stains on the pillow I was laying on. It looked like old blood stains, which is absolutely disgusting. I was completely disgusted and would have left if I could. When I checked out I mentioned these things to the employee at the front desk and she did not seem to take me seriously. She kind of dismissed me and said she would make a note of it, but didn't seem even slightly concerned or apologetic. I really don't mean to be a Karen, but I travel for work and I have never stayed at a worse hotel. I have stayed at motels that are nicer than this hotel was. This was absolutely not worth the cost and I would never stay at Wyndham Gardens again. Overall, our rooms were in terrible shape, I felt disgusted by the lack of hygiene and basic cleanliness and the staff was unhelpful.

Our stay was excellent from reservation to checkin to checkout. I would recommend. Price was responsible for the services as well.

Absolutely horrific stay. The rudest staff I have ever encountered. Arrived at the airport at 10:30pm. I had called several days in advance and was told that the shuttle would be operating at that time. Upon arrival I called the hotel to request the shuttle. Phone rang endlessly and was not answered. After 30 min someone picked up, said she was busy and put me on hold. Waiting on hold for 22 min and then called again. This went on for 90 minutes. Finally someone answered , was quite nasty, and said she would call the shuttle. I asked how long it would take for the shuttle to arrive, she said “ I have no idea” and slammed down the phone. Waiting another 20 min, no shuttle, finally called an Uber. Once I arrived the front desk staff continued to be incredibly rude and unconcerned that a guest was left waiting at the airport for close to 2 hours. Rooms were not clean, safe did not work, asked for someone to come and fix it but no one did. And to top it off several people in our group were placed in rooms with bedbug infestations. Just a disgusting hotel with absolutely awful staff
