Comfort Inn Hendersonville

I loved the king sized bed. So comfortable. My roo. Was very very clean with all the basics . Plus a small desk where I can work. They have an outdoor pool open 10 to 8 and reminds me of days past. For solo business trip it was very adequate. Located near shopping and food and the main highway so I was happy with location.

Location is terrible and traffic is awful getting in and out of the hotel. Parking lot is tiny. Entire Hotel reeks of cigarettes and then pot in the evenings. Room is gross. Massive cracks in the doors that a field rat could go through. Flooring damaged and missing a plank. Holes in the wall. Dead bugs smashed all over the walls. Bathroom is so small you cant sit on the toilet without sitting sideways. The old man at the front counter is very rude. He reeked of BO and cigarettes. Pretty sure he smokes while behind the counter based on ashes in the floor. Called to ask for WiFi password and he said it very fast with a redneck accent and hung up on me. I called him back and he intentionally huffs and puffs before spelling it for me. I guess I intruppted his smoking. Avoid this place. Spend a few extra dollars and go elsewhere.

I visited this hotel from Wednesday through Friday Thanksgiving week 2025. The hotel itself wasn't bad for the price. They had a half decent breakfast spread including waffle maker and the room was clean and fairly comfortable. On Thursday night when I get back to my room I called the front desk to get a late check out. This should have given me until noon to check out. I woke up at 11:00 and started getting myself ready and packing up. I was in the bathroom when I hear banging on the front door about 20 after 11:00 with someone screaming that I need to check out now. About 5 minutes later it starts again but this time I'm right at the front door. I open it up and there's an elderly gentleman start screaming at me again that I'm supposed to be checked out already that check out time was 11:00. I told him he needs to check with the front desk clerk because I had called for a late checkout. His response was I am the f********g front desk clerk at which point I slammed the door in his face. At this point I was Furious and took my time getting my stuff together until 11:55 a.m. at which time I left the room and went to the front desk. The same man working in the front desk so I asked to talk to his general manager. He tells me the general manager was not in and won't be in until Monday. I didn't ask for a receipt for my room too is she replies we don't give receipts when you use points for the room. I said I get a receipt for every hotel room which he then begrudgingly decided to accommodate me but that wasn't good enough. He tells me don't ever f********g come back to this hotel. I left the hotel and instantly did a review on the room and this interaction with the front desk clerk on this hotel chains website and also when I received the standard survey that hotels email out to you I blasted the hotel in that email as well. I had not received a response in the last two and a half weeks so I called the hotel yesterday and talk to the general manager. She said that she had some words with the front desk clerk and that was it. She did not compensate me with any points for this horrid experience nor did she fire the front desk clerk even though she said she had trouble with him before. I'm sorry I will pay extra not to go this hotel the next time I'm in the Hendersonville area.
