Terrible experience. 1. Let me into a room that was already occupied. (2) Booked me into another where the flush for toilet wasn't working and handle was broken. (3) Third room had broken electrical outlets. ( 4) elevator not working. The property is musty and in disrepair Terrible experience

Run,don’t walk away. This hotel was dirty. The staircase rugs had food everywhere. The elevator wasn’t working, the smoke detector was disconnected and the drains in the bathroom were clogged. The ice bucket cover had black mold and hair on it. There was no bath mat and the towels were threadbare. Breakfast area was dirty. The coffee was cold and not good. The only redeeming quality was the evening clerk who was at the desk when we checked in. He was very pleasant.If we hadn’t been on the road all day and exhausted we would have high tailed it out of there.

I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. 1. Our first room had mold and dripping water from the ceiling in the bathroom (see pics). I did not notice it because we checked in late that night and went straight to bed. At 7 am that morning and I showed the pics to the young lady at the front desk. I advised her that we had to leave for a medical appointment but would be back by 4pm and would like a new room. 2. We returned 4:15p ish and room was not ready we were advised that room was not ready. No apologies were given we were told we’d have to wait 30 minutes for our new room. 15 minutes later new room was ready. At first we were very happy then after an hour we realized the room was not getting warm. We at first tried layering up but by 8p we realized that we wouldn’t be able to sleep in the cold. Told front desk attendant and her response was that no one had mentioned that it wasn’t working so I advised her to come in and check it. She came and decided to give us a key to our 3rd room. 3. Got to the third room and we did not need the key to open the room. It remained unlocked. We mentioned that our room would not lock and the only advice we received was that she would give us a key to”do not disturb” sign. We had to run an errand that night so we left all of our stuff in an unlocked room with fingers crossed that no one would enter while we were gone. This hotel had the nerve to have a note on the chalk board at checkout asking for customers to give them a perfect rank on TripAdvisor….so that is why I’m posting this on here. I really would have had a better experience if the customer service was better.
