Rodeway Inn & Suites

This hotel is a classic, older hotel. Our room was on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator, but the stairs, though narrow were more than adequate. The room was spacious, clean with a King bed, that to me was comfortable. The room had a kitchenette with stove top, sink, microwave, coffee maker and a nice two seat table and chairs. The price was very reasonable, considering we were "in season". We will stay again if/when we go back to the OBX.

Parking lot is very tiny but overall great location. Staff are nice and room was clean and great for the price paid .Would definitely stay there again

Worst night of my life... made reservations online for 1 night, i had been driving all day i was completely exhausted, they have a kiosk check inn, we were having problems so I knocked on the window for the managers help, my husband finished the check in on the kiosk after denied help from the management, we received our keys and went to our room, woke up to my husband screaming frantically saying they are trying to come in... get up they are coming in our room!!! Apparently 2 different men oped our door, at 115 am .... eventually saying we didnt pay... how did we not pay but was given keys to the room??? While grabbing my purse and keys off the bed I pulled back the covers and saw a roach crawling on the bed!!! They ended up calling the police, wich we were happy to see them because we didnt fully understand what was happening, after the police came the police apologized and said we didnt have to leave, and they hoped thus didnt give the outer banks a bad reputation... after they had my husband stretched out on the hood of the car and searched him!!! We left and had to sleep at a rest stop, thus place should be shut down, I will be speaking with a lawyer tomorrow
