Comfort Suites Cary

There are so many reasons. This hotel was shabby and run down. It should have been remodeled years ago. *The hot water took a very long time to get hot. Such a waste of water. *No vent fan in the bathroom. *The dining room chairs were pealing. All of them. Terrible! *2 light bulbs were out in my bathroom. *No soap dish. So soap made a mess on the counter. *The bathroom ceiling was very rusty. *No extra box of tissues available. I ran out on the first day. *The shower was nice once the water got hot. *The bed was clean and comfortable. *The desk chair was dirty. *The walls in the room had schmutz on them. Everywhere. *Black stuff was blowing out of the AC. *There were spider webs all over the outside of every window I noticed. Very unappealing and disgusting especially when in the dining room trying to eat. Those windows were the worst! *The staff is awesome! No complaints there. *The phone in the room did not work. Had to physically go down to the front desk to talk to anyone. *The TV did not work at all for 1 day and only partly worked for 5 subsequent days. * The handle on the hairdryer was sticky. *Remodeling work was being done in and on the hotel. Creating an inconvenience for guests. With lots of noise. Workers using the elevators to move equipment and demolished items in and out of hotel. Debris everywhere. *A pipe burst causing water damage and a falling ceiling in the hallway on my floor. Flooded hallway. Loud fans and heaters used. Wires created a trip hazard. Musty smell. *Excavation equipment was running outside my room. *Elevators very slow and corridor blocked so I could not access the lobby. *Staff or workers doing some thing above my room. Very noisy. *Stairwells were dirty. *Dining room was basically clean and well stocked every morning. Good coffee. *I know I only paid $99.00 a night and didn’t expect much but this was ridiculous! I’ve never had such a poor experience in a Comfort Inn. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Will never stay at this one again and will think long and hard about staying at any other Comfort Inn.

I had a pleasant & peaceful stay. Karla checked me in & was polite & friendly along with the rest of the staff here. I can't express enough how peaceful & pleasant my stay was.

we made reservation for 4 nights there. We asked for a handicap room. Their idea of handicap is quite concerning. Their bathroom had one railing by the toilet and another on the outside of the tub. No shower chair and no shower wand. There was only one ice machine and that floor had an odor of chemicals. Pool was out of order. Freezer in the refrigerator has never been defrosted ( just a block of ice ) so you couldn't use it. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel.
