The Twin Magnolias Bed & Breakfast

They called us about 4 hours prior to checking in to tell us they over booked our room. What a great way to start a trip NOT. I find it hard to believe that they could over book a 2 room B and B. I think it was because of my wife’s dietary issues was too difficult for them to accommodate.

The owners were kind enough to stay up late for us and still greeted us with a smile upon arrival. The bedroom was very clean and decorated with Sherlock Holmes artifacts and memorabilia of from one of the owners' mystery writing days. Rest of house was charming. We ate a delicious breakfast with our hosts who shared their life stories with us. We will definitely stay there again if traveling thru that area.

We thought this would be a nice place to stop on the way to SC. But once we stopped, we decided not to stay. The house was not very clean and didn't meet our expectations of a B&B. It was very dusty and smelled like the dogs that were barking at us from upstairs. The surrounding area was depressed and we didn't feel safe and comfortable. Pass on this facility!
