Quality Inn & Suites

After traveling 18 hours we took the first room we could find. The room was filthy and had a VERY strong odor of weed. Broken fixtures, stained carpet, electric wires exposed, inoperable microwave, rusted bedside lamps, bathtub gross! The whole room was a mess. See pictures.

Pulling in at 9pm I seen folks who from the looks of things lived permanently in the hotel. They where sitting around on both levels in beach chairs and outdoor furniture. As soon as we exited the car the smell of Marijuana being smoked was very prevalent. Many people moving about in the parking lot. Folks pulling up and sitting in vehicles for hours. The A/C drains were running in from of all room to the point mold was growing. The water stains were unbelievable. The room floor was wet from just being mopped. The room smelled of mildew. The Continental breakfast at 7am consisted of a just machine with watered down juices and 7 mini-muffins and cereal. Nothing else. One last note, there were broke down worn out furniture sitting in the breeze way on its side to keep folks from using it. The parking lot lighting was not very good. Did not feel safe at all.

There is ZERO wifi available to the back part of the inn. The service desk acknowledged this is a reoccurring and said there is NOTHING they can do about the problem. Isn't lying about providing free internet on their advertising, shouldn't they mention it ONLY works close to the front of the building. Room is average but we got 'conned' into taking a suite at a higher price then hammered with having to go to the lobby to get online. Service sucks mud when they say they are helpless to correct the problem and gave me a "TAKE IT OR LEAVE' answer.
