MID PINES INN AND GOLF CLUB

Hotel is in serious need of renovation. We had 8 rooms, ever had cockroaches. Carpet is worn out all over hotel and dirty. This place is just gross. Not worth $20 a night. I’m not sure how the health department hasn’t shut this place down. Employees were nice and a good note.

I am a local in pinehurst NC for last 10 years and we decided to go play golf at Mid Pines. First. Hats of to Ross. Great course design. He is an all time great. The is the first and only compliment I can give to the course. DO NOT PAY THE 280 dollars to play this course. It is so mismanaged and not maintained. Start with the practice range, there is not a flat surface to hit off and the fake grass is all ripped up. The staff are indifferent at best. The course - fairways ok. Tee boxes ok. Almost every green had small to large fungus problems. So sad a Ross course was allowed to go into this bad of disrepair. The hotel and main facility needs a 10 million uplift. Overall. Great potential. They are living off their past and the Pinehurst area name. 10-15 better courses in Moore county

Mid Pines is a pit. Everything you read is true. The staff is nice, except housekeeping has yet to make an appearance. Next time my husband books a trip, I’m going to make sure he reads the TripAdvisor reviews before doing so. We had a lovely day golfing today and expect to have another tomorrow.
