DOUBLETREE BY HILTON CINCINNAT

Dump. Terrible carpet. Awful bar and food. Couldn't even wind down with a good TV experience. Stay a few miles down the road. The proximity to CVG is not worth it.

The staff at this DoubleTree were outstanding and are the main reason I am giving this hotel 4 stars instead of a lower rating. Logan, the shuttle driver, and Jake in the bar area were both exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and truly made us feel welcome during our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the room did not match the level of service provided by the staff. We noticed mold in the shower, dirt around the bed, and a used drinking glass still in the room when we arrived. That immediately made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Another frustration was that my digital key stopped working on the second day of our three-day stay. Having to return to the front desk and wait in line to have it reinstated was inconvenient and disappointing. I was also surprised that breakfast was not included, especially since several other Hilton brands offer complimentary breakfast. While the staff were excellent, the cleanliness issues and maintenance concerns need attention if this property wants to meet the standards many travelers expect from the Hilton family of hotels.

We always stay here for early flights the next day. Cookies = amazing. The most recent trip, I was blown away by the staff. So quick and courteous. Especially, Tyra at check in. It set the tone for a great vacation!! My family agrees.
