RESIDENCE INN CLEVELAND WESTLAKE

regards to my visit on 5-22-26 to 5-23-26. Me and my wife checked in at front desk and we were exhausted from dro so we immediately fell asleep,I was woken at 1:30am to my wife screaming she had 2 very large spiders on her head and neck, I immediately killed them and after calming her down I turned on all the lights and quickly found at least a dozen more on the bed and walls. I disposed of them also, if that was not bad enough I went to use the bathroom and found the toilet not functioning. I tried calling the front desk but as you will see from attached pictures that the phone was also not working and damaged. I have been a guest at your establishment for more than 3 occasions and never experienced this , when I informed the clerk at checkout that I needed some type of explanation and some discount, was told the manager would call me after 11am it is now 1:30.. still no response. if I was able to see at night to drive we would have left at 2am but that was not a safe option. I will be attaching all that I have. I understand sometimes things happen with the proper training of some new employees, but most of this stuff is easily fixed. Please look over this and respond at your earliest convenience.cell # 216-xxxxxx New up date was told they would be taking $20 off the bill of $106 they asked if I was satisfied with the outcome, you can guess my response So please if you go to this location and the say your room number is 140 ....run as fast as you can. Unless you like spiders, filth,no wifi, and a non working toilet or phone. Call me old fashioned but I kinda like a clean room and a toilet that flushed.

Only upper level. Requested lower level. Said one room only available- next to mgr. office but, no keys available. WHAT? Single woman. Felt danger. Left. Be aware. Sketchy for host of reasons. Keep driving.

3 stars is all this place deserves. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, and the wifi works. But, I find it difficult to rate any hotel or motel higher than that, especially if The Weather Channel isn't available. If managers/owners are too cheap to pay for that particular channel, then they don't deserve any higher rating. I'm an OTR driver, and I rely on up-to-date weather information. If I can't get it in a hotel/motel room, there's a problem. Accu-Weather is a joke. They claim they can forecast the weather 6 months out.....I don't think so.
